What a great trip ... a track dedicated to bikes ... what do you wish more !!! Everything went fine without a lot of indicent. Temperature was splendid even if it was a bit chilly in the morning !
Even if we all felt worn out after those 2 great track days, it worths every pain !
Hope to see you on track next May !

Sorry for the delay for announcing next season dates. Even if I’m working on it for many weeks now, I just received all track confirmations just yesterday. Each year, I’m surprise to see that I almost have to start from scratch. It’s not as easy as it looks believer me !!!
So, finally, here is 2012 TRACKFEVER and TRACKFEVER Racing’s calendar :
May 5th – Riding school … Level I, II and III, Circuit Icar
May 6 th– Track day, Circuit Icar
May 19 th – Track day, Circuit Icar
May 20th – Round 1 TFR, Circuit Icar
June 1st – Track day, Calabogie Motorsports, On
June 2nd & 3rd – Round 2 et 3 TFR, Calabogie Motorsports, On
June 16th – Track day with 1 riding school Level II (replacing the Racer group), Circuit Icar
June 17th – Corporative track day or Track day (to be confirmed in January 2012), Circuit Icar
July 14th – Track day with 1 riding school Level II (replacing the Racer group), Circuit Icar
July 15th – Corporative track day or Track day (to be confirmed in January 2012), Circuit Icar
August 11th – Track day, Riverside Speedway, Ste-Croix de Lotbinière

A FRIENDLY RACE is planned at the end of each track day
*** 1 start for each group (green, yellow, red, black or students)
*** minimum of 6 participants per group
*** no special preparation required but the regular ones
*** « regular » start
*** 3 laps without timing
*** Price for the winner : a bottle of water !
*** position on the starting grid to be determined by a draw the morming of the activity

With this splendid sun and this warm weather we had last week end, I’m pretty sure that everybody was expecting an invitation to participate to a « last minute » track day. I really tried but unfortunately, the track was not available !
In revenge, I want to suggest to all bike fans to
TRAVEL to JENNINGS in FLORIDA
during Christmas Holidays

DATE … We choose next December 28th & 29th allowing everbody to be with their family during Christmas and New Year Day.
COST … 350$ US for those 2 days. There’s a tire service and Michelin representant on site along with an ambulance and marshals.
MODALITIES … as usual … total payment with credit card or cash (with credit card in garanty) before leaving for the track. If I already have your credit card number in your TF file, it will simplify the procedure.
REGISTRATION DATE … I need to get your registration the latest October 31st. I’ll wait for the minimum number of participants requested (20 riders) to confirm the trip and to proceed with the payment.
TRANSPORTATION for bikes … if you prefer to have your bike carried in Jennings, I suggest to use my 16 foot trailer. We’re talking of a 400$ (back & forth) per bike. I need to a enough interested participant for such transportation to justify the use of my trailer.
SHARING FEES … for those interested, I can accommodate 4 participants in my truck. We’ll share the gaz expenses. For those looking for such « partners », let me know and I’ll link you with other participants.
INSURANCE … I’ll check with my insurance company in order to verify if such an event outside my regular calendar is covered. If not, I’ll give you the contact of a brooker that covers such « extreme » sports so you can get your own insurance.
THE TRIP … Along with confirming the trip, I’ll provide you with a detailed map of the road to get at the track in Florida. For those interested, I suggest that we regroup before leaving and that we travel as a « caravan ». It will be a « non stop » trip.

2011 TRACKFEVER BANQUET

TRACKFEVER just end its 4th season. Saturday, October 15th is the BANQUET to celebrate this great season. This will be hold at the same restaurant as last year ... Restaurant U & Mi in Rosemère http://www.u-mi.ca. The owner, a sports bike fan like us, has planned a great menu at 29.95$ including hors d’oeuvre, salad, entrée, main coarse, cake bouchées and coffee. The event starts at 17h00.
We will take the opportunity to give the trophees to the TRACKFEVER Racing 2011 Series Champions.
We’ll also have great price to draw all along the evening !

Dans le cadre d’une nouvelle émission, l’équipe de Pénélope McQuade vient tourner à TRACKFEVER samedi le 27 août ! Cette nouvelle émission nommée “ICI et MAINTENANT” sera diffusée sur les ondes de Radio-Canada à compter de janvier 2012.
Pénélope McQuade’s team will be at TRACKFEVER next Saturday August 27th to register a program at the track. This new series called “ICI et MAINTENANT” will be broadcast at Radio-Canada starting next January 2012.
TRACKFEVER Racing at Calabogie Motorsport Track

This coming weekend, TRACKFEVER Racing is holding its 2nd and 3rd Rounds of its Series in Calabogie (On). This weekend is preceeded with a track day open to everyone.
Visitors fee is 15$ per person and free for kids under 12 years old.
The show will be exciting !!!
Circuit Icar starts its track modifications.

It’s already been announced that Circuit Icar is planing modifications on its track layout for this year. This afternoon, on this magnificent Eastern Monday, few racers and I went over there to try those modifications.
Few curve numbers changed. What we know as curve number 1 and number 2 are now called number 3 and 4. Whatever there names, those 2 curves have been changed considerably.
1. The start/finish line is longer than before
2. Curve 1 (now no. 3) is more “closing" than before. The zone off track at this height is more important than before.
3. Curve 2 (now no. 4) is a lot less an airpine than before.
All the other modifications to the layout will be made beginning of May as soon as nice weather starts. Everything should be ready by May 21 / May 22 for the TFR 1st round of the season.

Tire service

There will be no Pirelli tire service at the TRACKFEVER or TFR Racing’s event this year. Tire service will be given par Gianni Aceto and David Mongrain who will also sell tires respectively Dunlop and Bridgestone.
Quebec and Montreal 2011 Bike Shows

2011 Bike Show will be hold in Quebec (booth 1906) next Feburary 4th, 5th and 6th and in Montreal (booth 1112) February 25th,26th and 27th. At both Shows, TRACKFEVER’s booth is located near by SUZUKI Canada section. We will be more than pleased to answer all your questions and to register you to any TRACKFEVER activities. 2011 season seems really promising. Few new things on menu such as a racing round on Calabogie, Ontario, a “PRO” class with $$$ prizes. Please, consult our Calendar section for the dates and location of the 2011 events.
