RIDING LESSONS

FOR WHOM / FOR WHAT

These lessons are for all those who are passionate about riding a motorcycle, with or without experience on closed circuits. Experience and dedicated instructors will help you develop or improve your biking abilities. The techniques and reflexes that you will acquire during this training will not only increase your biking pleasure but also improve your sense of security on the road as well on the track.  Those riding lessons are mostly oriented for superbikes.  but a special program has been created for custom bikes as well corresponding to a Level I training.

GROUPS

Three different levels are available:

LEVEL I (novice): This level has the objective to teach you the right basic riding techniques in order to increase your habilities to drive more safely your machine both on the track and on the road. It also allow you to get more confortable on your own motorcycle in a highly secure environment This course last the whole day ... splitted equally between theorical notions and on the track pratice. The ratio is 1 instructor and 1 assistant per 10 students. 


NOTE: In the afternoon, a group is dedicated to custom bikes for an 4 hours riding lesson adapted to their own needs.  They are regrouped separately from the superbikes. 

LEVEL II (intermediate):  At this level, riding techniques are taught to you so you can develop your self confidence on your bike. You will also learn more about your own machine and improve your performance. 8 hours are scheduled for this level splitted between theriorical notions and riding on the track. The ratio is 1 instructor per 5 students. After completing this level, pilots can made a demand to obtain a racing licence from different racing associations both in Quebec.


LEVEL III (expert): This level is for the pilots who want to go even further and eventually get themselves involve with racing. At this point, riders must have previous training in order to be allowed to registered to these lessons. 8hours are also scheduled for this level. The ratio is 1 instructor per 3 to 5 students.

      IN CASE OF CANCELLATION 


    • 30 days or more in advance Credit applicable in the same year + 10 % administration fees

       

    • between 10 and 29 days in advance Credit applicable in the same year + 25% administration fee

       

    • Less than 10 days in advance No credit or reimbursement possible



      NB: it is possible to transfer your registration to another person with a 20$ administration fee.




       CERTIFICATION

       

      At the end of the training, a certificate will be given to each participant. Level II and Level III students can apply for a racing licence with TRACKFEVER in Quebec or RACE in Ontario.  Parts Canada Superbike Championship also accept Level II and III to issue licences.
